Lab Manager Cass Lowry and Research Assistant Enas Al-Busairy offered a multi-session training on using event-related potentials (ERP) to study language processing.
The first session contained a conceptual overview of ERPs: what they are, what kinds of cognitive processes they index, and how to measure them. Then, training participants attended at least two hands-on sessions where they practiced running simple ERP experiments. The video below (courtesy of Research Assistant Omar Ortiz) gives a quick peek into the training sessions.
