Interested in bilingualism, psycholinguistics, or multilingual education? Research assistants and volunteers in the SLA Lab gain hands-on experience in (1) laboratory research investigating bilingualism or (2) development of curricular and assessment materials for multilingual students. These positions typically involve a minimum commitment of 5 hours/week.
Research assistants and volunteers contribute to lab projects while receiving training in the various facets of the work. Training areas include: experimental design and implementation; data processing and analysis; multilingual educational materials development; as well as broader skills such as writing and administration. Please take a look at the “Projects” page for more information about our projects. Supervision and training are provided by the lab manager and project managers.
